PHILOSOPHY OF EDUCATION
WCIU is a Christian Institution under the sovereignty of God with respect for human responsibility and accountability. We hold that leadership is God given and that Christ is the ultimate leader and that all of life should be lived following his example and being empowered by the Holy Spirit. WCIU affirms that persons should have the opportunity to develop their potentials; that education should stimulate a quest for truth, an appreciation for creativity, an aspiration for service and a comprehension for the wholeness of life; that career preparation should emphasize ethical consciousness and long-life productivity, adaptability and cohesion and that Christian perspective should aid graduates to become catalysts for responsible transformation in society. We maintain that every experience must be evaluated or else, it becomes dangerous and ultimately futile.
